“PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale” Leaks Reveal Remainder of Characters, Stages, And Modes

populationgo:

[via]

A gigantic leaks seems to happen all too frequently over at Sony, except that this time they have to place some of the blame on themselves. The hotly anticipated PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale has a beta going on currently on the PS3, which has led some rabid fans to take apart the game to search for unannounced content. I’d say those fans were very successful as every remaining stage, character, game mode and more seems to have been revealed by their digging.

Huge information dump after the break.

It’s obviously gonna be MGS:Rising Raiden. Which is alright I guess. But I still don’t like it.

Idk… this will probably suck, and I’ll be sad. :(

Game Review: Dragon’s Dogma

populationgo:

Has anyone ever stolen your heart? No, I mean really stolen it, right out of your chest. Sounds pretty improbable, right? Well, what if it was stolen by a dragon? What if this made you the Arisen and granted you command over people called Pawns. What if this wasn’t even the half of it, and things to come would get stranger still?

Arise and face your destiny, it is now your time.

This is more or less how I felt about Dragon’s Dogma. But I still found it better than Skyrim for some reason.

The pawns are slightly annoying after a while since they just keep saying the same thing every time. But there are inclinations you can adjust (for your main pawn only) so that they don’t talk as much.

And sure some people will be like, oh this doesn’t have fast travel.

Do you know how short this game would be if it did? I played it for about 60 hours within a week and a half. Fast Travel would have shorten that to about 30, but I’d be so underleveled by the end. It would have taken about an hour to finish the final boss.

Yes I did say an hour. When I fought the final boss, it took me 2 tries both being about 30 minutes each. The first time I died right before I made the final blow (ultimate frustration), the second time was slightly faster as I’ve figured out what to do, but it was still really long. (Also I was an idiot and didn’t have any ranged attackers other than my Mage, but she was busy healing and Element Buffing)

Other than that, I agree with this review completely. Took the words right out of my mouth. It’s a fantastic game and personally my Game of 2012 so far. And with great Japanese sales in the first week. I just hope for a sequel. Hopefully the sales here in the West were good enough to garner a sequel to come across the pond.

(Personal Review Score: 4.5/5)

The Great Battle Of Skyrim

Just how epic can Skyrim be? Well, if you’re fan Tyrannicon, the answer to that is pretty freaking grand.

Ty’s video features 500 Draugr, 200 Skeletons, 500 Dwarven Warriors and a Dragon going into a battle that seems to bring to mind battles like those found in Lord Of The Rings: The Two Towers. Check it out.

A Look At The Glorious Artworks From “The Last Of Us”

GamingBolt has put up released beautiful artwork of The Last of Us up on their website. The artworks depict the broken environments of the post-apocalyptic world in which the game will take in. The lives of Ellie and Joel are also showcased through them.

I really, really love the one with both of them having a laugh around the campfire because you can tell that this probably won’t happen much during the game itself. It’s also rather rare that artworks depicting some sort of a relaxed and light moment are available or shown in a post-apocalyptic survival game. Hopefully this scene will make itself into the game and leave a lasting impression on gamers.
