I’ve gotten a TON people asking about the second issue! This is pretty damn exciting considering we have yet to launch the first issue!
Due to demand, there will definitely be a second issue of Heart Container, likely launching this summer. We would love to receive your submissions, and earlier is better than later.
Want to submit? Here’s what you need to know:
We accept JPEGs, PSDs, INDDs, AIs, EPS files, .doc and .rtf files also. If you’re submitting JPEGs, make sure they’re 300dpi and in CMYK color space. The dimensions of the zine are 5.5x8.5” so keep that in mind too.
You can email all submissions to albertinewatson[at]gmail[dot]com (that’s me) with the subject line “Heart Container Issue #2 Submission”
Include a short bio of yourself (300 words or less) as well.
Thanks! Don’t forget to Like and share and spread the word about Heart Container!
Come on everyone. I’m gonna get my Top 5 prepared all neat and tidy for both Tumblr and HC Zine. :D
I think it’s about time that I shared with my followers that I have teamed up with Tom Higgins and Jeff Ward of 92.9 KICK FM’s The Bonus Stage to come up with a way that we can further promote the zine and raise money for charity.
The Bonus Stage is a video game talk and news show that airs on…
I’m definitely booking off work for this.
So as you may have noticed, I’m hardly on Tumblr anymore. I’m doing my second year of study communications with a major in advertising so I’m insanely busy.
This is just me, reminding you that I’m making a zine for a big school project, and that you should support it because it would make me…
Spread the word!
inFamous 2
I have my notes for DA2 on this laptop. But, I need to kinda play it again, to get a refresher, and find more points (even though I have most of the key elements). So for now, that’s on hold… again. (I really hate myself)
So far, I’m liking inFamous 2, still kinda more of the same, but I’m giving it a chance. The UGC (User-Generated Content) is pretty cool, I checked out a few people’s levels and their well done, and when I got my hand into it, just a tad, it’s not that hard to control, and creating your own mission isn’t that hard.
I’m maybe only a third through the game, but it still has it’s same faults.
The magnetized hugging of a wall when trying to jump away from it slightly.
The almost very repetitive missions.
Just more of the same so far.
The only thing that’s got me hooked is the story. Picks up some months after inFamous 1.
(Note: Finishing inFamous with the good ending, is right ending)
(I’ll have to install inFamous 1 on the Hard Drive again to get the extra stuff/dialogue in the game, I’ll do that on my second playthrough [that will not be part of my review])
Now that I’ve said all that.
Here are some nice, simple HC wallpapers for all your devices:

I was working on this logo for the past couple days, here’s what I’ve got so far.
Great!

I understand that I have been away from here for some time now. You see, as well as being quite busy with life, I’ve begun working on a very intensive creative project.
This project is a submission based video game art & culture zine called Heart Container. Proceeds of the zine will be donated to…
